MI SUCCESS STORY: JUSTIN DERRICO

Justin Derrico grew up in Virginia and started playing guitars after hearing some of the classic rock gods. A friend of other fellow MI alum, Kara Britz, he came to MI to follow his music dreams.

Upon graduating, Justin became one a member of Pink’s touring band, and he would continue to work with her for many years. Along with working with Pink, Derrico has worked with Beyonce and Robin Thicke and maintained a steady spot as a guitarist for the band, The Calling, which he got through a connection with Barry Squire. Currently, Justin still tours with Pink and is a member of the backing band on NBC’s The Voice.
