Jimena Fosado is a 24 year old female guitarist born in Mexico City currently living in Los Angeles. Influenced by different genres in order to create her unique sound mixing different elements in her music. She is part of the Shreddelicious community that features female musicians all over the world including Sarah Longfield, Nita Strauss, Courtney Cox, Nikki Stringfield, Yvette Young, etc.

Jimena is proudly endorsed by PRS Guitars, EMG Pickups and Elixir Strings.

When applying for Musicians Institute in 2015, she was awarded with the Synyster Gates Scholarship (Avenged Sevenfold). She landed her first U.S. tour as lead guitarist only 4 days after graduating from MI in Winter 2017.

Throughout her career, she has shared stage and played with Steve Vai, Dave Weiner, Philip Bynoe, Paul Reed Smith(PRS Guitars), Scott Paige(Pink Floyd), Mike Beal (Earth Wind and Fire) Plain White T’s, Sky Dagncil (PRINCE), Grammy awarded Beto Cuevas, and is currently the lead guitarist for the musical Jesus Christ Superstar composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. First musical that has received 6 awards by the metropolitan awards in Mexico 2019 and that has toured in Arenas and coliseums.

She has been in national tours in the U.S and international tours. She has been in major press in the U.S.A. and Latin America (TMZ, FOX News live, FOX Sports, LA Weekly,Guitar Girl Magazine, All that Shreds Magazine, Voyage, Shoutout LA, TELEHIT, GuitarraMX, Shred Guitar Masters, Guitarramente, Talent Raters Magazine, Televisa). She has collaborated with Joey Sturgis Plugins(JST) as well as YAMAHA and LINE 6 as a product tester.

She started uploading videos of her playing punk rock covers to Youtube and received attention by going viral and being mentioned on Twitter by some of the bands or artists she covered such as Simple Plan and Orianthi. The most viewed video passed over 100,000 views in such a short time.
