KEVIN LAMERTUCCI

Born in 1992 in Caracas, Venezuela, Kevin relationship with music started at age 14 when he began to take bass lessons at “Allegro academia de Musica”. He would then study for 4 years at the music conservatory “Lino Gallardo” while simultaneously attending the jazz school, Taller de Jazz Caracas. It was during those years the Kevin studied under some of the most prestigious Venezuelan musicians like Oscar Fanega, Willy Diaz, Antonio Mazzei, among others.

In 2011 he moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend Musicians Institute from which he would graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Bass Performance and a Minor in Audio Engineering.

Since his arrival in LA, Kevin has worked and played alongside a wide variety of artist in all different styles. Artists like grammy winner and Hall of Fame Booker T. Jones (Stax Records), Kamasi Washington (Jazz), Anna Beatriz (Latin/Jazz), Glennellen Anderson (Indie Pop), SideTrippers (Blues), Last Cadence (Progressive Rock), Shattered Systems (Progressive Metal), Bhavana Reddy (Indie Rock), Only on Tuesdays (Pop), Felipe Villar (Spanish Rock), Rachelle and the Rising (Alternative Rock), just to name a few.

Kevin has toured all over the U.S playing in cities like San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC, Detroit, Las Vegas, Arizona, Portland, Alaska, etc. and in some of the most prestige venues like “Catalina Jazz Club”, “The Whisky A Go Go”, “El Rey Theater”, “The Saban Theater”, “House of Blues”, “The NAMM Show”, “Dakota Jazz Club”. He has recorded 5 full-length studio albums, 4 EPs and multiple music videos.

Kevin is also currently part of the Bachelor and Bass department faculty at “Musicians Institute”, a music teacher for the “Burbank Academy of Music” and the “Music Junction School”.
