During the course of the programs, students will partake in internships, and share real-world experience earned from working with our esteemed instructors and professionals. Our Associate of Science in Music Business, Studio Recording, and Live Music Event Production degrees will prepare students to work as music industry professionals in various areas, including (but not limited to) record labels, music publishing, music studios, venues, artist management, touring, entrepreneurship, and more.
ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN LIVE MUSIC EVENT PRODUCTION
The Live Music Event Production program provides aspiring live sound engineers the opportunity to work in professional live stage and event scenarios. Using state-of-the-industry equipment in multiple venues, students will learn the major audio/video/broadcast components, techniques and roles in the planning and execution of live music shows and other live events.
ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN MUSIC BUSINESS
The Associate of Science in Music Business degree offers students courses in entertainment law, music publishing and licensing, distribution, and management, as well as music industry history, international music publishing, accounting and finance, marketing, and visual media.
ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN STUDIO RECORDING
The Studio Recording program offers audio recording enthusiasts and engineers the opportunity to work in professional recording studios and audio recording scenarios. Using industry relevant equipment in a number of studio and production spaces, students will learn all phases of music recording, with hands-on projects in individual and team exercises designed to build a mastery of the recording process.
