Included in the intensive, six-month curriculum is the weekly Guest Seminar series offering students a chance to meet and talk with successful professionals from all corners of the business. During the past year, MBP guests have included MI grad/Weezer bassist Scott Shriner (photo), Interscope A&R rep Tony Ferguson, Queens of the Stone Age producer Joe Barresi, recording artist Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge), Island A&R rep Daniel Shulman, Lollapalooza/Janes Addiction tour manager Janine Edwards, Gwen Stefani touring musician Kris Pooley, Morrisey guitarist/co-writer Jesse Tobias, and Evanescence/Ozzy Osbourne/Saliva producer Bob Marlette. With guests of this caliber appearing every week, MBP students gain a unique insider's view of the music industry in all its variety.
