MI SUCCESS STORY: LISO LEE

Liso Lee is a guitarist and composer, originally from South Korea, who moved to Los Angeles in 2012. Lee moved to Hollywood in 2013 to study at Musicians Institute, enrolling in Associate of Arts in Performance (Guitar). Soon after graduating from the program in 2014, she began touring with Cee Lo Green until 2015 and opened for Lionel Richie’s tour. Since then, her resume has been full of gigs with some of the biggest artists in pop music.

In 2016, she was a guitarist for ex- One Direction member Zayn Malik and in 2017, guitarist for Fifth Harmony. Currently, Liso Lee has been playing for Gwen Stefani at her Las Vegas residency, Just A Girl, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Liso shared that she learned from attending MI, “the confidence of own strengths when I audition or when new opportunities come.”
