David Bowie is an irreplaceable artist and icon, and today, January 8, is his birthday! To celebrate what would have been his 73rd turn around the sun, Parlophone Records has announced two new Bowie projects, the first which is a six-track EP called DAVID BOWIE IS IT ANY WONDER? that the label will release over the next six weeks.
The first of the songs from the EP is a previously unreleased version of “The Man Who Sold the World” that Bowie recorded and mixed at Looking Glass Studios in New York in November 1996, prior to rehearsals for David’s 50th birthday concert at Madison Square Garden.
