Of course, no conversation with Bruce Dickinson would be complete without exploring his monumental career with Iron Maiden. He shared killer anecdotes and reflections on the band’s journey, from their early days to their current status as one of the most influential and beloved heavy metal bands of all time. Dickinson’s insights into the band’s songwriting, touring experiences, and enduring legacy resonated deeply with the aspiring musicians in the audience.

The event also shed light on Dickinson’s relentless drive and diverse interests. Beyond his musical achievements, Dickinson is a pilot, an author, fencer, a screenwriter, and an entrepreneur. He spoke about the importance of pursuing one’s passions and embracing a multifaceted approach to life, a powerful message for students eager to forge their own unique paths in the music industry.

Bruce offered invaluable advice to the students, encouraging them to hone their craft, persevere through challenges, and never lose sight of their artistic vision. It’s always our goal with these conversations to bring in artists to give our students (and fans) firsthand inspiration and knowledge.

A huge thank you goes out to Director of Artist & Career Services Carolann Mota and the ACS team for organizing such a great event!
