Barrett, an MI graduate, has released three solo albums during his career and served as Editor/Author of more than 100 Hal Leonard projects. He is also the author of instruction books and DVDs.

Barrett has shared the stage with John Zipperer, Severin Browne and Dave Morrison. His specialties include improvisation, theory, blues, classic rock, jazz.

At MI, Barrett teaches Private Lessons & Open Counseling.
