Dear Prospective and Current Students,

Musicians Institute is thrilled to announce a proposed agreement by which Takeshi Sakimoto
will acquire Campus Hollywood, Inc., which is the parent company of Musicians Institute. Per 34
C.F.R. § 600.20(g)(4), the U.S. Department of Education requires that an institution notify
prospective and current students at least 90 days in advance of the closing of any transaction
which results in the change of ownership and control.

The transaction will result in Mr. Sakimoto taking full ownership and control of Campus
Hollywood and Musicians Institute on or after November 14, 2025. This timeline is contingent
upon completing the necessary notification processes with the institution’s regulatory agencies,
including the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, the National Association of
Schools of Music and the U.S. Department of Education.

As you likely know, Mr. Sakimoto is the President of Campus Hollywood and has served the
company for over twenty-three years. Mr. Sakimoto worked closely with our previous owner,
Mr. Hisatake Shibuya, and looks forward to continuing Mr. Shibuya’s legacy and providing music
education opportunities for all students who wish to explore a career in music. We are certain
that under Mr. Sakimoto’s leadership, Musicians Institute will continue to provide inspiring
artistic and academic excellence to students that want to pursue careers in the music and
entertainment industry.

As we look forward to the future, we are excited and optimistic about the new opportunities
and advancements that Mr. Sakimoto’s ownership will bring. We will keep you updated as this
process progresses, and we will schedule meetings where Mr. Sakimoto will visit with students
on campus. In the meantime, please feel free to send any questions you may have to
[email protected].

Best regards,

Musicians Institute
