Dear Prospective and Current Students

Musicians Institute is pleased to announce that the previously proposed

transaction involving the acquisition of Campus Hollywood, Inc., the parent

company of Musicians Institute, by Takeshi Sakimoto was successfully

completed on June 8, 2026.

 As a result of the completed transaction, Mr. Sakimoto is now the full

owner and controlling shareholder of Campus Hollywood, Inc. and Musicians

Institute. The transaction was completed following the necessary

notification and regulatory processes with the institution’s applicable

regulatory and accrediting agencies.

As many of you know, Mr. Sakimoto has served as President of Campus

Hollywood for more than twenty-three years. During that time, he worked

closely with our previous owner, Mr. Hisatake Shibuya, and has developed a

 deep understanding of Musicians Institute and its mission. Mr. Sakimoto is

 committed to building upon Mr. Shibuya’s legacy while continuing to provide

 students with opportunities to pursue their passion and careers in music

 and the entertainment industry.

 The change in ownership represents an important new chapter for Musicians

 Institute. Our commitment to our students, faculty, staff, and the music

 community remains strong. Under Mr. Sakimoto’s leadership, we look forward

 to continuing MI’s tradition of artistic and academic excellence while

 exploring new opportunities for growth, innovation, and advancement.

 We are excited about the future of Musicians Institute and the

 opportunities this new chapter will bring. We will continue to keep our

 students and community informed as we move forward and will provide

 opportunities for students to meet with Mr. Sakimoto and learn more about

 his vision for the future of MI.
