Since 1996 he has operated his own Management, Development & Production Consulting Business (Moral Compass Mgmt) offering client services that range from songwriting consultation, live performance coaching, recording/mixing/mastering consultation, label shopping, merchandising, sync and publishing opportunities. Clients range from solo artists, bands, production companies, labels, managers, etc.

Currently, Karl teaches Personal Management and Music Distribution courses at MI’s Music Business Program. He has previously taught Internet Marketing, Social Networking & Fan Management and Media Relations at MI.
