MI SUCCESS STORY: NICOLE ROW
DEDICATION AND TALENT ON BASS
Originally from Fresno, Nicole Row loved the bass and followed her passion to L.A., jumping head first into the bass program at MI soon after her high school graduation. Since then, Nicole has been involved in many realms of music industry, building a career that’s included world tours, teaching and session playing. Her dedication and talent on bass has most recently landed her a gig as the upright/electric/synth bass player for global superstar Miley Cyrus, where she has performed for thousands of fans at Wango Tango, The Billboard Music Awards, and The Voice, to name a few. Along with her steady place on Miley’s band roster, Nicole counts Troye Sivan, Daya, and Fat Joe amongst the long list of stars that she’s supported on television and tours.
Although her career is quickly exploding, with endorsements by Fender guitars and Form Factor Audio amps, Nicole still loves to help music students in live band workshops to spread the skills, knowledge and discipline that she honed while a student at MI.
