MI SUCCESS STORY: JIMMY SMITH

MI alumnus Jimmy Smith graduated from the Music Business program in July 2014.
Through the help of Carolann Mota, MI’s Internship Coordinator, he swiftly got an internship with Live Nation, who is considered to be one of the world’s biggest live entertainment companies. His internship eventually led to a full time gig at Live Nation, as the director of Online Communication for BringTheNoise.com, their punk and metal website.

Jimmy spoke to MI’s previous blog, Next Level Noise, and said of his education here, “My experience at MI was great! Besides getting to meet a ton of students obsessed with music like me, I was able to learn from some exceptional teachers. The program definitely met my expectations as I was able to absorb so much about all the different aspects of the music industry.”
