MENNO VERBATEN

MENNO VERBATEN

Born and raised in The Netherlands, Menno Verbaten relocated to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute, studying with the likes of Steve Bailey, Billy Sheehan, and Stuart Hamm. In 1998, he began playing the Los Angeles club scene, sharing the stage with artists such as Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Steven Adler (Guns N’ Roses), and Mike Hartman (David Lee Roth).

Although fluent in many musical styles, Menno specializes in hard rock and heavy metal, with a heavy emphasis on “shred-style” bass and two-handed tapping.

At MI, Menno teaches Private Lessons and the Metal LPW.
