Adam Hawley attended University of Southern California (USC) where he earned a Doctor of Musical Arts, Master’s of Music and a Bachelor Degree. Adam is a gifted performer, sideman, and educator, known for his lithe, groove-oriented approach to contemporary jazz and R&B.
He launched his solo career with his breakthrough 2016 debut album, Just the Beginning, which featured three chart-topping smooth jazz singles including “35th Street” (which spent five weeks on top of the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart), “Joy Ride,” and “I Don’t Mind.”
He followed that up with the #1 single “Can You Feel It” off of his 2nd album Double Vision. Adam has also played in a variety of live and studio settings with a bevy of pop, jazz, and R&B artists including Natalie Cole, Jennifer Lopez, Dave Koz, Brian Culbertson, Rick Braun, Gerald Albright, Manhattan Transfer, Peabo Bryson, Euge Groove, and many more.
Adam specializes in jazz, fusion, pop, R’n’B, gospel and studio work. At MI, he teaches Private Lessons & Open Counseling.
