It might seem early to already start planning your summer music plans, but there is always so much to choose from here in Los Angeles as a student at MI, that you will be happy that you did!

Eager to stay ahead of the game, Hollywood Bowl just announced its lineup for the 2019 KCRW World Festival, and its full of some iconic performers and new artists that span many diverse genres. There will be someone you want to see, believe us!

The World Festival kicks off on June 16 with Chromeo, Toro Y Moi, Noname, Ian Isaiah and Jason Bentley as host.

The rest of the lineup:

July 7– Reggae Night, with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Third World, Kabaka Pyramid and Garth Trinidad as host.

July 21Natalia Lafourcade, Gustavo Dudamel, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Madeleine Brand as host.

August 4Lord Huron, Shakey Graves, YOLA and Anne Litt as host.

September 15Cafe Tacvba, additional acts to be announced.

September 29Gary Clark, Jr., Michael Kiwanukana and Aaron Byrd as host.

The Hollywood Bowl is so close to the MI campus in Hollywood, and it is one of the best venues in the city to watch a concert, so make sure you check some of these out!
