Professional drummer Val Sepulveda is fearless, passionate and highly talented. Val Sepulveda’s passion for drumming started when she first picked up a pair of drum sticks in high school. After winning a televised battle of the bands in Chile, Val’s all-girl band Moskita Muerta was propelled into national attention and subsequent tours with some of Chile’s most popular artists followed. The band guest received guest spots on several of the major television shows and had their music played on popular radio as well.
After graduating from the University of Valparaiso in Chile in 2011, with a degree in Music with emphasis in drum performance, Val moved to the US to pursue drumming full-time. She is currently playing with several different bands and artists such as, The Vibrant Sound, Kathleen Frewin, Ice Hotel, Faith Johnson, Kymberlee, Spencer Glenn, and also working on numerous recording projects.
Val competed against hundreds of entrants to become grand prize winner of the 2013 Hit Like a Girl, international competition for female drummers.
