JONATHAN BATES
Jonathan is a producer, remixer, writer and performer. His current project, Big Black Delta, has done official remixes for Daft Punk, M83, Moby, SONOIO and more.
Jonathan is also the singer and founding member of the Columbia recording group Mellowdrone. His music has been licensed by the likes of Six Feet Under, Nissan, Project Runway, Bravo, Disney, MTV, and several video game titles. A by-product of years of solid touring has lent to a lot of DIY know-how in production and mixing and experience with business matters. He also played guitar and sang in the French pop group M83.
He has shared the stage with Paul Weller, The Fire Theft, Elbow, Johnny Marr, The Killers, and many others. In the studio, he has worked and collaborated with Eric Valentine, Bob Ezrin, Tony Berg, Alessandro Cortini, Sean Beaven. Jonathan is an expert in Logic, ProTools and Ableton Live.
