Camille "Cam" Olivier (Percussion) appears in Jazmine's new video "Need U Bad" featuring Missy Elliott and directed by Jonathan Mannion (The Game, Busta Rhymes, DMX). The song is in current rotation on all major Hip-Hop and R&B stations (including Hot 97 NY and Power 106 LA) and the video is appearing on VH-1, MTV, and BET's 106 and Park.

Cam is also the drummer for TV/TV, who have been featured on MTV's The Hills, The Real World, The Gauntlet, Sci Fi's Flash Gordon, Fox's Fearless Music, EA Sports NHL ‘09, TheDailyChorus.com 'Top Unsigned Band List', BMI Artist of The Month, MTVU's Artist Spotlight BMOC, Billboard.com's Indie Artist Spotlight, the Crazedhits, the Music Slut and Breakthru Radio. The band will also be appearing in an upcoming segment of MTV's TRL.

	MI Launches Band Booking Service Nov 21, 2008 MI Launches Band Booking Service Nov 21, 2008 Musicians Institute is preparing to launch an exclusive new club booking service for students. Each quarter, four bands will be booked into notable LA performance venues. To qualify, bands must be made up entirely of currently enrolled students and meet certain other requirements. MI’s Artist and Career Services Department will guarantee the club’s minimum ticket sales and if the band sells over 50 tickets through their own promotional efforts they get to keep the additional money. The first show is tentatively booked at the Viper Room for late November; for more information, contact Director of Artist and Career Services Todd Berhorst (323) 860-1118.

	Ableton Live 7 Demo Nov 21, 2008 Ableton Live 7 Demo Nov 21, 2008 MI's Keyboard program has scheduled another "Try It Before You Buy It" product-related clinic featuring a hands-on demonstration of Ableton Live 7 audio software on Friday November 21 at 5:30pm in MI's Passage Digital Lab (adjacent to Hollywood Boulevard). The clinic is only open to current MI students.

	Recording Career Seminar with Eliot Waldhorn Nov 21, 2008 Recording Career Seminar with Eliot Waldhorn Nov 21, 2008 On Friday, November 21, MI’s Recording Institute of Technology presents a special seminar with Eliot Waldhorn on “Wearing Multiple Hats: Making a Living as a Freelance Engineer, Producer, and Songwriter.” Aside from his productions with up-and-coming recording artists such as C-Blunt, Shon and reddick, to name a few, Waldhorn has co-written and produced songs for "Dawson's Creek," "Pimp My Ride," "Date My Mom," "Parental Control," and many other TV shows and films. His music is in constant rotation, with over 4000 national and international music airplays to date, including DVD, film, television, internet and radio.
