Christina Reyes (Voice) has been chosen as the winner of “Anaheim Ducks Idol” contest, earning the honor of singing the national anthem at the April 6 Ducks hockey game, along with four tickets to the game and a free dinner. After being chosen over 40 contestants in the competition held at the ESPN Zone, Christina said, "I wasn't prepared to win; it's surreal. My boyfriend's mom sent me a text message the other day telling me I should be in this. I'm a vocal student, but I don't usually do open mics."
On Monday, May 12, PIT presents Ray Luzier (PIT grad, instructor and drummer for KORN) in a special open counseling session.
Before joining KORN in 2007, Ray was a veteran of rock supergroup Army of Anyone (featuring members of Stone Temple Pilots and Filter) and numerous tours with David Lee Roth, Billy Sheehan, The Hideous Sun Demons and many others. Ray’s skills extend beyond the drums to include writing, producing and teaching (check out his popular instructional DVD on Hal Leonard).
