Therése Neaimé (VIT ’99, RAP ‘01)

Since graduation, Therése Neaimé has been expanding her career as an independent artist and songwriter both in the US and her native Sweden. While attending MI, she built on her prior experience as a singer, dancer and writer to land gigs and sessions for her band, NEAIMÉ, while soaking up knowledge about the recording and songwriting business.

"Attending MI is definitely one of the best choices I've made in my life,” Therése reflects. “To be able to breath and practice music 24-7 is a real blessing and it has also given me the opportunity to meet people from all around the world with the same passion for music as me. The school has also given me the experience, discipline, artistic growth, knowledge and self-confidence that I need for making it in the music business, but the most important thing I learned at MI was that I could actually make my dream come true if I only believed and worked hard enough at it!"

Apparently, belief and hard work are starting to pay off. Back home, Therése recently landed one of her songs on the soundtrack of the upcoming Swedish movie Language Of Love, and she’s currently writing original material with top international producer Jorgen Elofsson (Britney Spears, Westlife, Kelly Clarkson etc) and finishing her first original CD (check out www.neaime.net for more info and updates).
