Oscar Gonzalez Performs on “Glee”

Oscar Gonzalez (Drums) recently performed on the FOX TV smash-hit series Glee (Season 2, Episode 16: “Original Song”), an opportunity that resulted from an MI Hiring Hall audition. “The [Glee] gig showed me the potential for professional opportunities that I had not seen or experienced before,” said Oscar, who was also the winner of the Fall 2009 Evans Drumhead Scholarship. “My aspirations are to do more TV and movie gigs in the future, so gaining the chance to experience that a little before I graduated was such a great opportunity and learning experience.”

Since appearing on Glee, Oscar has graduated and returned to San Diego, where he plans to teach private lessons, work as a session drummer, and tour with his band The Pennant (check out their music on Facebook).  was winner of the 2009 Evans Drumhead Scholarship. Read more here
