Nikki Amini Joins Universal Music Sweden

Nikki Amini (Music Business ’11) has been hired by Universal Music Sweden as a Product Manager on the International Marketing team. She joined the company just after completing a six-month internship with Universal Music Group Distribution as part of MI’s Music Business program.

“My main role is to work with the rest of the marketing and promotions team at the UM Sweden office and make sure that each artist that is relevant to the Swedish market is well established,” said Nikki. “I work with all different types of artists from the UMG roster, but I mainly focus on Interscope acts.” Reflecting on her internship experience, Nikki added, “I was very lucky. They always made sure that I participated in different types of projects that they were working on – anything from doing a lot of research and analysis as a first step in a project to assisting with the actual development and testing of different types of artist mobile sites and iPhone applications.”
