Max Wesley Wallis Joins Machinima.com

|    Apr 29, 2009

Max Wesley Wallis (Music Business) has joined Machinima.com as Director of Music Ad Sales. He recently checked in with this story of life since MI:

“I always thought I was gonna be a rockstar....don't we all, right? I was in a pretty successful band called Atomic as a vocalist but it was the demise of that band that made me really question where I was going in life. I decided to attend the Music Business Program at MI for a new beginning, and boy did I find it!

“I began my internship at LaFaMos Marketing & Publicity in November of 2008 while attending MBP. As soon as I completed my compulsory 120 hours, I was hired on immediately (well sort of). Since LaFaMos was a startup company, I was not able to work as much as I would have liked to in terms of hours. Within a couple of months, as a result of a recommendation from an instructor at MBP to a colleague, I was called in for an interview at Machinima.com to help out with music business aspects for this "Entertainment Network for the Gaming Generation” (consider them to be the MTV of the gaming generation). I became the Director of Music Ad Sales at Machinima.com on April 21, where I will be working with record labels, independent bands, and marketing companies regarding our Machinima Music Montages. I also offer music business consulting services to bands if requested...”

“More and more of the auditions I’m having for recording artists are turning out to be MI class reunions. The graduates of MI have been dominating the new, young music scene in LA”.
