Ginny Luke Tours Australia, New Zealand with Meat Loaf

|    Sep 14, 2011

Ginny Luke (Vocals, Keyboards) joins Meat Loaf this October for his “Guilty Pleasure Tour,” including a series of dates in Australia and New Zealand. Ginny will be featured on electric violin as well as background vocals and keyboards.

The tour includes a half-time performance at 2011 Australian Football League Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), to be recorded for an upcoming live performance DVD. Meat Loaf is touring to promote his new album Hell in a Handbasket (Sony), which features guest appearances by Chuck D from Public Enemy, Lil’ Jon and Mark McGrath. Ginny also recorded violin parts for the album, which also features MI Keyboard instructor Justin Avery.

Aside from her work with Meat Loaf, Ginny has recorded string tracks for Snoop Dogg, Cori B, Rick Ross and MBK Entertainment and she performs with her band Adam 812 (also including MI students Harrison Sanborn and Patrick Jarrett), which earlier this year opened for Allison Iraheta and Third Eye Blind.
