Dovber Lubin Earns Audio Post Credits for “Sugar”

Dovber Lubin (Audio Engineering/Post-Production) earned audio post-production credits on the recent Village Entertainment film release Sugar, starring Shenae Grimes, Marshall Allman, and Austin Williams. Dovber, who worked on the film at Santa Monica’s Motion Sound & Picture, is credited as ADR Mixer & Recordist, Dialogue Editor and Production Sound Recordist. He landed the gig through a referral from MI Audio Engineering instructor Orlando Rashid.

Since April 2011, Dovber has also been working as a mixing and wiring engineer for GRAMMY-nominated composer, producer and performer Peter Himmelman. With Peter, Dovber mixed the latest Barbara Hall album and mastered Peter’s latest album, Flimsy. He has also engineered cues for USA Network’s Necessary Roughness and Nickelodeon’s How to Rock and currently independently produces fellow MI grad Justin Glocker’s hip-hop project Enigma. Prior to working with Himmelman, Dovber interned at Nightbird Recording Studios.
