Christopher Maloney Tours with Cosmosquad

Christopher Maloney (Bass) has been keeping quite busy recently.  His instrumental band Cosmosquad just completed their second tour of Japan in September to coincide with the release of their first DVD, Lights...Camera...SQUAD! (Zain Records in Japan, Marmaduke/Sunset Records worldwide).  The high-def DVD features a recent live concert at MI Hollywood. During the Japanese tour, Christopher also conducted a clinic for MI Japan/Tokyo where he played songs from his solo albums as well as Cosmosquad material and also demonstrated highlights of the Rhythm Section Workshop class he regularly teaches at MI Hollywood.

After the tour, Christopher traveled to south Florida for more clinics before heading down to Ensenada, Mexico as part of Fender's Bass Bash Live tour, where he joined notable Fender-endorsed bassists including Tony Franklin, Frank Bello of Anthrax and Motown legend Bob Babbitt.  Christopher’s work for Fender has also included sessions teaching at Fender University, an exclusive new music education program for guitar enthusiasts worldwide, where he joined Yngwie Malmsteen, Dweezil Zappa, Greg Koch, Jeff Kollman, Tony Franklin, Reggie Hamilton, Frank Bello and John 5.
