DJ rang in 2013 by performing live on TV with Sean Kingston in Time Square for MTV’s New Year’s Bash, also featuring Ke$sha, Conor Maynard and more. He was referred for the possibly-permanent gig by guitarist Chuck Gibson. DJ performs with Gibson, Lil Wayne’s drummer Keenan Ephriam, guitarist Jerris Mozee and bassist/MI alum Rumeal Eggleston every Tuesday night at Club Entourage in Hollywood.
DJ also landed two pro gigs through auditions at MI set up by Barry Squire: He performed with pop artist Kady Z and worked with Atlantic Records executive/songwriter Mike Caren, producing tracks for movie and record placement.
He can be seen every Friday night at the Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs, performing Top 40 hits.
DJ will graduate with his Associate of Arts degree in April 2013.
