RAP Presents Music Licensing Seminar
Mar 01, 2007

Music placement in film and television is a lucrative source of income for those who know how to tap into it. On Thursday, March 1, RAP students will learn the basics of licensing, royalty payments and performing rights organizations and how to protect themselves and their music. Music licensing expert Chris Lightbody has worked in the music departments of TV shows including CBS’ Star Search, Fox’s 30 Seconds To Fame, and ABC’s Dance Fever and has also placed music in dozens of shows, recently on CBS’ Cold Case, E!’s Grammy Awards Pre-show, and Lifetime’s Gay, Straight, or Taken.
