Musicians Foundation Receives Scholarship Check

MI's non-profit affiliate, The Musicians Foundation, recently received a scholarship check from The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation at the Women of Distinction Awards Gala on Tuesday, May 15th. The Universal Studios Globe Theatre rolled out the red carpet as the largest fundraiser of the year for the Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation honored notable figures in the community who have made a strong commitment to Hollywood. Music Business Program director Kenny Kerner was there to graciously accept the check worth $2,500 for The Musicians Foundation, along with, Coordinator of the Musicians Foundation, and MI Admissions Representative Gary Younger. The Musicians Foundation is a non-profit scholarship fund dedicated to providing financial assistance to needy students, and the David Geffen Foundation, among others, has previously made a generous contribution.
