The annual Warped Tour is taking shape and MI is offering student/grad bands a unique opportunity to battle it out to join the tour. Here’s how it works:

• Metal, punk, rock, rap/rock or alt. rock genres only
• Bands must include at least 50% current or former MI students
• Make 5 CD copies of your two best original songs and drop them off at MI’s Artist and Career Services Department (ACS) located at Hawthorn & McCadden (across from the main MI building) DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: MAY 21 – NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
• Include your contact info on the envelope and each CD
• Submissions will be judged by an industry panel and the top five bands will compete on stage at MI
• The winning band will go to the finals to be held at the Key Club
• The ultimate winner will get a slot on the Warped Tour!
