On Thursday, June 12, GIT presents an exciting afternoon clinic featuring the influential, inspiring and outrageous John 5. John began his career backing some of the biggest names in the music industry, including k.d. lang, David Lee Roth and Rob Halford, before embarking in 1998 on a six-year stint with Marilyn Manson followed by his current spot as lead guitarist for Rob Zombie.

John, who was recently honored for “Best Shred Album of the Year” by the readers of Guitar World, is known for his versatility (including a passion for country twang) and technical virtuosity. With three critically acclaimed solo albums, appearances on more than a dozen successful rock albums, countless tours, a Fender Telecaster Signature model, appearances on nine magazine covers, and an R-rated instructional DVD, J5 has entered the realm of true Rock royalty.
