October 24: Glen Sobel Double Bass Extravanganza Glen has recorded and/or performed with Beautiful Creatures, Boink, Jennifer Batten, Gary Hoey, Tony MacAlpine and Chris Impellitteri as well as a host of others. His double bass chops are ferocious and his drumming is superb. Sobel’s exceptional talent makes this a must-see Master Class. Whether you’re already a double bass drum god or have never played double bass before, this clinic will offer up information and inspiration that no drummer should miss.
October 31: Drum Workshop Field Trip PIT is loading up the van again and taking another group of students out to Drum Workshop’s facilities for an extensive tour. Everything is done in house from shell manufacture to final finish, and students get to see the complete DW manufacturing process. All this and free lunch!
November 6: Mark Shulman Drum Clinic Mark has become one of the most sought-after touring drummers in music today, with credits ranging from Cher, Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow to Billy Idol, Foreigner, Simple Minds and Dave Koz. His clinics are both informational and inspirational, and PIT students are in for a treat.
December 3: Todd Suckerman PIT Clinic PIT is excited to present Todd Suckerman for a clinic/masterclass. Todd is currently touring with Styx and can be heard on the upcoming release from Brian Wilson. Other recording and touring credits include Eric Marienthal, Brian Culbertson and those inimitable Masters of Metal, Spinal Tap. Prepare for spontaneous combustion!
