GIT is presenting special open counseling sessions by instrumental guitar guru Gary Hoey on three Thursdays during the spring quarter (April 8th, 15th & 29th).

Hoey has nine solo CDs under his belt, including the soundtrack to Endless Summer II and his well-received Christmas series, Ho-Ho-Hoey. Known as a first-rate player on the technical level, Hoey is also a writer, producer and singer, as evidenced by his latest release, Wake Up Call. In perhaps the greatest testament to his skills, surf legend Dick Dale named Gary as one of his four favorite players...the other three being Eric Clapton, BB King and Andres Segovia.
