MI is extremely proud to welcome back GIT alumnus and former instructor Paul Gilbert for a series of Open Counseling and Private Instruction sessions (now extended until the end of the current quarter). Paul is offering lessons to individual students on a signup basis, and during open counseling he jams and answers questions in a small-group setting.

Paul is widely considered to be one of the finest rock guitarists of his generation. Since graduating from GIT, his highly successful career has included CDs and numerous tours with Racer X and Mr.Big as well as several solo recordings and best-selling guitar instruction videos. Recently, MI Japan recognized Paul for his exceptional popularity in that country by bestowing the title of "Honorary Dean". GIT is glad to bring him back to his dear alma mater!
