On Thursday, May 12 PIT presents a clinic featuring rock drummer extraordinaire (and PIT graudate)
Ray Luzier. Currently touring and recording with
David Lee Roth and his own band
The Hideous Sun Demons, Ray has also toured and/or recorded with Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne), John Lowery (Marilyn Manson), Tony Fredianelli (Third Eye Blind), Tracy G (Dio, WWIII), Ricky Wolking (Nixons, Jennifer Batten), James Lomenzo (White Lion, Zakk Wylde), Arcade (with Stephen Pearcy), Michael Lee Firkins and MCA/Koch recording artists the Nixons. Luzier also drums for the world-famous metal cover band,
Metal Shop.
The clinic will feature Ray performing selections from his Magna Carta instrumental release,
Hideous Sun Demons as well as segments from the David Lee Roth show, soloing demonstrations and a Q&A about touring and getting hired in the business. Ray's new instructional DVD for MI Press/Hal Leonard is currently in the final editing stages and set for a summer release.
