On Saturday, July 30, GIT presents a special one-day intensive learning experience for San Francisco Bay Area guitarists. Veteran GIT instructor
Daniel Gilbert (pictured) will appear at Mount Diablo College in Pleasant Hill to present the GIT Experience, a special one-day seminar for guitar players of all styles and levels. At the Experience, Gilbert will offer insights into learning, practicing, applying techniques to various styles as well as a hands-on Q&A session and GIT-style ‘open counseling’ jam. The event is co-sponsored by Steve Sage, a former student of Gilbert who has himself become one of the Bay Area’s most respected guitar teachers.
The GIT Experience recalls the legendary
Howard Roberts seminars that inspired GIT’s founding, and Gilbert’s gift for clarifying complex ideas and demonstrating efficient ways to develop technique has earned him a worldwide reputation as a player and teacher.
