MI Presents "Sounds of the Kazakh Steppe"

On Wednesday, November 1, MI welcomes musicians from the Republic of Kazakhstan for a concert entitled "Sounds of the Kazakh Steppe". The concert, sponsored by the National Academy of Music in Astana, the Kazakh capital, will present an array of performers in tradtional styles using authentic instruments. Forget Borat - these are the real people of Kazakhstan!
