Yellowjackets In Clinic/Concert - May 20th

On May 20, MI students will be treated to a day with LA fusion legends, The Yellowjackets, featuring the original lineup of Russ Ferrante (keyboards), Robben Ford (guitar), Jimmy Haslip (bass) and Will Kennedy (drums). Known for outstanding musicianship and an appealing blend of fusion, funk and blues, the Yellowjackets were known as one of LA's premier instrumental groups from their inception over two decades ago. Since then, the individual members have each gone on to successful performing and recording careers, making this a highly anticipated reunion. Scheduled events include separate afternoon clinics conducted by each band member, followed by an 8:00 concert for all MI students.
