VIT Presents Trina Harmon
| Jul 12, 2007
On Thursday, July 12, VIT presents a special seminar with songwriter-producer-"artist life coach" Trina Harmon. Quoting from her bio, "Splitting her time between Los Angeles, Nashville, & New York, Trina Harmon has had numerous songs recorded by major recording artists in Pop, Country, R&B, &Contemporary Christian formats as well as TV/Film soundtracks. Her first top-ten single, “When You Lie Next to Me”, recorded by Kellie Coffey, crossed over and remained in Billboard’s country, pop, and A/C charts for over 50 weeks. She earned her first production credit and wrote four songs on Jessica Simpson’s multi-platinum album, In This Skin. Other artists who have written with and recorded Trina’s songs include Hillary Duff, Nick Lachey, Jesse McCartney, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Brandy, Tina Arena, SheDaisy, Jennifer Paige, Nicole Scherzinger, Hayden Panettiere, Plus One, Jessica Andrews, Natalie Grant, and many others. As a songwriter and producer, Trina has always been naturally “listening to and advising someone’s problems” as she was turning them into songs. In 2005, she decided to take her unofficial role as an “artist life coach” and formally offer it to the many friends & acquaintances in the entertainment industry that had turned to her for trusted guidance. Today, she counts famed artists, producers, managers, writers, and music execs as her clients. She also travels widely offering seminars and private coaching to motivate and educate creative people who truly desire to have a successful career and life in this industry."
