Thomas Lang Master Class / Drum Clinic

On Monday, November 15 from 11am-1pm in the Concert Hall, MI’s Drum Program welcomes internationally renowned drummer and clinician Thomas Lang for a special clinic / master class. Voted “Best Drummer” by the Rhythm Magazine Reader’s Poll, Thomas has performed and recorded with artists as diverse as Asia, Falco, John Wetton, The Clash, Suicidal Tendencies, Gianna Nannini and Mick Jones in addition to his work as a solo artist and his best-selling drum instruction videos. Drum Program Director Tim Pedersen says, “Lang mixes monster chops and solid groove with a musicality rarely seen in a drummer today.”
This event is open to all students.
