Steve Morse Delivers Valentine to GIT!
Feb 14, 2004

On Saturday, February 14- Valentine's Day-, guitar great Steve Morse will make a rare in-person clinic appearance at an equally rare Saturday GIT event sponsored by Ernie Ball/Music Man.
Steve Morse first came to prominence with The Dixie Dregs, a band that combined stunning instrumental virtuosity with rootsy Southern influences. More recently, Steve has gained widespread attention for his work with proto-metal legends Deep Purple as well as his own group, the Steve Morse Band.
At Saturday's 90-minute afternoon event Steve will play to tracks and conduct a relaxed Q&A session with GIT students, displaying both his amazing chops and his down-to-earth perspective on the music business. After the clinic, students will have a chance to try out an assortment of guitars provided by Ernie Ball/Music Man.
