Shawn Lane Benefit Concert

A benefit concert in memory of virtuoso guitarist Shawn Lane will be held on August 28th at the New Daisy Theater on world famous Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. Organized by Shawn's family and friends, the concert is primarily a celebration of the life and music of the outstanding musician who passed away on September 26, 2003. The second purpose is to raise funds to help offset expenses incurred by Shawn’s funeral and related legal matters. Among the performers will be (in alphabetical order)Black Oak Arkansas, Barry Bays, Tommy Burroughs, Joe Chawki, DDT Reunion (North Mississippi Allstars), Ed Degenaro, Joe Duke, Craig Erickson, Free World, Derek Trucks, Ray Gomez, Johnny Holiday, Jimi Jamison, Stan Lassiter, Lord Tracy, Jason Macedo, Chris Nix, Jon Paget, Kevin Paige, Tommy Priakos, Sean Rickman, Rob and the Rage, Ross Rice, John Roth, Jeff Sipe, Val Suarez, and Andy Timmons (appearances subject to change without notice).
