Sandro Albert All-Stars In Concert Jan 13, 2005
On Thursday, January 13, MI welcomes GIT instructor Sandro Albert in concert with an all-star band. Sandro worked as a sideman with major artists in his native Brazil for fifteen years. Since his arrival in the U.S. three years ago, he has performed with artists including War, Brenda Russell, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim, the Jimmy Haslip Band, and the Luis Conte Band. For Thursday's concert, Sandro has put together an all-star band including KIT visiting instructor Russ Ferrante (keys), Jimmy Haslip (bass), Gary Novak (drums), Katisse Buckingham (sax) and Luis Conte (percussion).
