On Thursday, May 6, vocalist-songwriter-producer Robert Tepper will conduct a special VIT clinic on topics ranging from performing and writing to navigating the music business.

As a recording artist, Tepper has released two solo albums, No Easy Way Out and Modern Madness (Scotti Brothers Records) that yielded singles featured on Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky IV and Cobra soundtracks. His songs have been cut by a range of artists from Pat Benatar and Paul Anka to rap artist Bumpy Johnson and Benny Mardones (“Into The Night”), and have been featured in films and TV (It’s My Life, Party of Five). In addition to working as a vocalist, he plays bass, keyboards and programs drums, and toured with the re-formed Iron Butterfly. At his production studio, Addison Sound, he has produced songs for Benny Mardones, Latin artist Nadia Torres, modern rock band Puzzle Gut and female rocker Mirinda James as well as his own band project, The Tumbleweeds. Robert also teaches Networking in the Music Business for MI’s Music Business Program.
