Post-Production Mix Clinic with Mark Cross
May 30, 2008

On Friday, May 30, RIT presents a special seminar with engineer/producer Mark Cross on post-production mixing. During the session in MI’s new THX-Certified dubbing stage, Mark will load up actual soundtracks from episodes of ER and discuss his approach to mixing music, dialog and sound effects.

As an engineer and mixer, Mark has worked on numerous albums, film scores and television episodes including the Grammy-winning I Am Shelby Lynne, Randy Newman’s Oscar-nominated and Grammy-winning score for CARS, the Meet the Parents soundtrack, and hundreds of episodes of ER. As a producer and composer, Mark has created the musical themes for Nickelodeon’s Wow Wow Wubbzy and the Seinfeld Season 8 DVD as well as producing and performing with Grammy winner John Legend on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. Mark has been a NARAS member since 2000 and served on the 2007 NARAS P&E Wing as well as the 2008 NARAS Board of Governors.
