PIT Presents Richie Garcia

On Thursday, November 16, PIT presents a special open counseling session with world-renowned Latin percussionist and drummer Richie Garcia. In addition to tours and recordings with artists including Sting, Phil Collins and Diana Ross, Garcia's unique ability to play multiple percussion instruments simultaneously has resulted in honors from Modern Drummer and DRUM! magazines and sessions for films including The Italian Job, Maid in Manhatten, The Mummy Returns, Robots, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, among others. During his session at PIT, Garcia will demonstrate applications of Latin rhythms to the standard rock drum kit.
