Patrick Berrogan GIT Open Counseling: “Le Jazz Hot” Feb 24, 2004
Django Lives! On Tuesday, February 24, guitarist Patrick Berrogan returns to GIT for an open counseling session devoted to the Django Reinhardt style, otherwise known as “Le Jazz Hot”. A well-received recent concert appearance by Patrick’s band, The Hot Club of San Diego, featured their take on “Gypsy Jazz”, and during this open counseling session Patrick will further explore improvisational phrasing and rhythm guitar techniques that can be applied to any guitarist’s repertoire. Expect the halls of GIT to be jumpin', swingin' and full of great melodic playing!
