New Audio Engineering (Post-Production Audio) Program Now Offers Financial Aid

MI’s newest program, the Certificate in Audio Engineering (Post-Production Audio), has received approval from the US Department of Education to immediately begin offering US financial aid to qualified students. The 45-unit/three-quarter program provides students with a broad foundation in professional audio engineering skills with added concentration in the art of recording and mixing music, dialogue and sound effects for television and film. Students learn in MI’s state-of-the-art production facilities, which include a THX-Certified dubbing stage equipped with a 48-channel Digidesign ICON D-Control console and Pro Tools HD 3 recording system. Instructors in the program include Emmy-winning engineers with broad experience in all aspects of post-production audio.
