MI Presents Vernon Neilly in Concert

On January 11th 2007 at 7:00pm, MI presents guitarist and Billboard top ten contemporary jazz recording artist Vernon Neilly in concert. Neilly’s band line up includes bassist Juan Nelson (Grammy award-winner and writer for Virgin Records recording artist Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals), drummer Derek Organ (Janet Jackson, Gladys Knight, The Gap Band, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Mary Jane Girls, Euge Groove), keboardist Norman Weatherly (Ike Turner, Rose Royce) and saxophonist Dave Patterson (Temptations, Rose Royce).Neilly's extensive resume includes performances with artists ranging from Timmy Thomas, Billy Paul, Cuba Gooding, Teena Marie and Carla Thomas to Charles Brown, Guitar Shorty, Luther Ingram and Peewee Crayton and Johnny “Guitar” Watson. He is also President of Chereese Records and C.E.O of Boosweet Records.
